Ross Mortgage Company was founded in 2001 by Robert J. Kalagher and his father — starting out of a small office on a pair of folding tables. The name "Ross" pays homage to Bob's grandmother, who instilled in him a simple but powerful belief: do things the right way.
That belief has carried the company through two decades of industry highs and lows — from the housing collapse of 2008 to the refinance boom of 2020. While other lenders came and went, Ross Mortgage Company kept its footing by staying true to what matters: educating borrowers, closing loans on time, and treating every client like a person — not a transaction.
Today Ross Mortgage is a 30-person team operating across 7 states, with offices in Westborough, Worcester, and Leominster Massachusetts. We've closed thousands of loans and built relationships that last well beyond the closing table.
